Competition bumper plates are mainly produced for professional weightlifting games. There are strict requirements on weight tolerance, aesthetics, and quality control.
You might have bought some competition bumper plates, but they could not fit the sleeves of the professional bars. That is a big issue. One reason is that the inner diameter of the steel core on the competition bumper plate is big. For example, the inner diameter of the steel core is 51mm, while the sleeve of the bar is 50mm. How can you slide the competition bumper plate on the sleeve? The second reason is that the core diameter of the competition bumper plate is smaller than 50mm, like 49mm, so a quality bar with a 50mm diameter of sleeves still cannot work well with the competition bumper plates.
Todo Fitness Group has prepared standard tooling to test the metal parts before the steel assembling. This great idea came from one of our regular customers' feedback. After that suggestion, we enhanced the diameter test during our production activity.
